The cube

As I walked in through the double glass doors the smell of chlorinated water whipped into my nose. It was too late to turn back now. I was here for a reason. My head was yelling at me to get  in the water. I ignored it. The clear water was casting a reflection of the millions of people in the stands. Red, white and blue flags stretched across the large pool. I raced into the bathroom to get changed. I opened the door and millions of eyes were cast on me. They were whispering. I had exited out of the changing rooms in my pitch black togs with a big white  fern wrapping around my waist.

The leadership conference

We took our seats and waited for the first speaker to enter onto the stage.
We listened to three speakers and then the last speaker entered onto the stage.

He was the head boy from HBHS named Joe. He told me that everything thing makes a difference no matter how small. And that we can choose our attitudes and you can also change your attitude. He spoke in a very well thought out and motivating way. He spoke to us as young leaders. It was a day full of interesting presentations.

Electronics

The Senior students from our school go to HNI every Thursday and this is what I did.

Buddy writing

They grey cat swam across the cold, sparkly blue pool. Her tail was swishing behind her. Her paws were as soft as feathers. Her ears are as pointy as a cone. Her eyes were as green as grass. Her nose was as pink as a rose. The water was moving around the soft, grey cat and was as blue as the sea. She tried hard to get to the other side.

My buddy, Georgia aged 6, and I created a story relating to the picture. We had to write a descriptive piece with things such as similes, metaphors and personification.
