A serge of excitement raged through my sweating body. The first biker came in sight. He raced to his partner and he darted to the pool. Several bikers later Caden came in sight. He tagged my shaking hand and I ran quickly to the pool. My pointed fingers hit the glassy, blue water. I was off.

Stranded
Stranded
The bus screeched to a stop. “Everyone off!”Yelled the exhausted bus driver. The doors of the bus opened quickly and everyone rushed out the doors in single file. I looked around . The pitch blackness surrounded my young body.Nothing around me looked familiar .The hedge had disappeared, Barry wasn't yapping and I realised this wasn't my house. It was a graveyard.
I entered under the old, arched sign that read ‘ Whatevers dead is deep down alive’. A sudden shiver ran up my bony spine. The old graveyard was filled with concrete blocks. But something that surprised me was that there were no flowers around the graves. My heart jolted as a hand touched my arched shoulders. I turned around suddenly to see a familiar face staring at me.
“What are doing here,” yelled Sophie.
“I ,I got lost,” I stuttered.
“Come on, everyone's been so worried,”she said softly.
We made our way back across the street where we found my house standing just where it was before.
What I like about this piece of writing is that it has lots of description about the surroundings. Something I can work on is using some of my other scenes.

The Ants and the Grasshopper
One summers day a Grasshopper was prancing around while a small ant was at work gathering food for the winter. The Grasshopper asked the ant if he wanted to play but he had to carry on with gathering food for the winter. Winter came and the Grasshopper was suffering from starvation. He went to see the Ant to see if he had some spare food for him. But the Ant said that was not his problem and there was nothing he could do for the Grasshopper.
Moral: Work hard so you can provide for the future.
